About

How We Began

The Creative Academy opened its doors on August 25, 2008 as the Wayne Child Development Center. In February 2009, the center received a 5 Star license from the Division of Child Development.  This license was based on the education, teacher:child ratios, and program standards of the center.  The center continues to hold a 5 Star license.

Our Specialities

The Creative Academy is also a licensed Developmental Day center.  This license allows the center to serve children of all abilities and requires the highest standards in the state for child care centers and preschool/pre-k.  The education standards for teachers are higher, ratios for the classrooms are the lowest in the state, and the curriculum is an approved state curriculum that encompasses ages birth-5.
